Mellow Monday

So I only volunteered for 3 hours today, because I had to leave early to get back on time for the extra credit lectures, which were pretty good. As far as my time at the clinic went, I did not really do a whole lot because there were a lot of volunteers and 2 doctors cancelled. But, it was nice because I got to talk to a nursing student who was telling me about her family. At one point while I was there a lady called and said she needed to know where she can go to get medical clearance needed to become a citizen. I had no idea that there was such a clearance to enter the US but, I guess it makes sense because you do not want to enter contagious diseases into the US, especially ones that we do not already have. But, we were unable to help the lady, because there is no doctor who conducts medical clearance examinations. I felt bad that we could not help her but we gave her another phone number to call.
Overall, it was a good morning at the clinic. Monday will be my final day. :(
