Monday Madness

So I got in from Mexico last night and I was ready for the usual calm Monday at the clinic. No! there were other plans for my calm Monday. Today there were over 60 patients that came in before 11 :-o and to make matter worse a doctor cancelled because of illness and 1/2 the other volunteers, including myself, are sick. Also, things kept breaking all morning. But I made it though my 4 hours of volunteer!! It was actually nice though because there was never a dull moment this morning and as weird as it sounds I look forward to more mornings like that!! I like the Monday Morning Madness that today offered.
Oh but on a side note I find it tragic how many people refuse to take care of their diabetes and all of the complications they face at young ages because of their lack of compliance. I just wish they knew that their lives could be so much better if they only tried a little bit. :o/
